LearnDash released 4.11.0 the other day, which includes the ability to assign and design a Course Completion page. Now, you might be wondering why this is noteworthy. Previously, course creators needed to use shortcodes, redirects, and other hacky methods to achieve the same functionality. Now it’s built-in.
There are two ways in which a Completion Page can be configured. Global Course Completion which is shown to every student who completes a course, and Individual Course Completion which provides the ability to create a more tailored experience. These two settings offer course creators a lot of flexibility.
Here are a few ideas for assigning a Course Completion Page.
- Provide information for taking additional courses.
- Congratulating students
- You could use a Plugin like The Events Calendar and insert the Events Block into the Page to show an event they gain access to upon course completion.
The sky is the limit. What you place into the Course Completion pages is entirely up to you. If you use LearnDash, what are some things you would or will include on your Course Completion page? Let me know in the comments.
